5th year students learned about the art and architecture of the Romanesque Period in Central Europe. They were taught this chapter through the five visual studies framework- context, artists and artworks, analysis, art elements and design principles, media and areas of practices, innovation and invention.
This unit of learning was completed with a group independent learning project where each group ordained a fictional or non fictional figure of today's world a saint and design a Romanesque style tympanum and church.
