The 2nd yrs completed their portfolios under the theme 'Face It!' which explored portraiture in a variety or artistic techniques, materials and styles. They looked at artists from different movements and time periods and what these movements meant culturally and historically. They then learnt how to annotate and how to write an artist statement. They took part in numerous styles of assessments and feedback- verbal, written, group feedback, peer feedback and self-reflections. This project was to push and introduce the students to experience different artistic styles, media and movements which will prepare them for their CBAs in the new year.
